Advisory Landman Connection Program

Welcome! AAPL's Advisory Landman Connection Program reflects our commitment to you and your professional development. This unique online networking and career development tools helps you find, connect and share your experiences with others as an Advisor and to seek connection and guidance from an Advisor as a Participant. An Advisor or Participant can be located in the same city or on the other side of the world. You may apply to the program in two simple steps: 

STEP 1

Complete your Advisory Landman Connection profile. Make sure your contact information is up to date, add a recent professional profile picture and expand on your bio. Having a complete and accurate profile is crucial to the success of the selection and matching process. Once your profile is complete, return back to this page and move on to enrollment in step 2. 

STEP 2

Are you looking to be an advisor or participant? Perhaps both? Click on the applicable selection below to begin enrollment:

  •   Enroll as an Advisor
  •   Enroll as a Participant

Make selections for each of the program demographics to set your preferences. Demographics include: topics, venue, specialties, career stage and start/end date. Please not that some fields are required for enrollment. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to make the best match. Keep in mind in order to request a particular advisor or participant, you must first be enrolled in the program. 

NOTIFICATION

​The Advisory Landman Connection Task Force meets monthly to match Advisors and Participants. It may take up to 45 days from the date you enroll in the program to be notified you have been matched.  Your application will be kept in confidence and will only be reviewed by the committee and the accompanying AAPL staff. Participation in the Advisory Landman Connection Program adheres to the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Practice of the Bylaws of the American Association of Professional Landmen which provides that a Code of Ethics has been established “to inspire and maintain a high standard of professional conduct”.  If you have any questions about the program, please let us know by sending your questions and comments to aapl@landman.org​​
