Bio

Certified Professional Landman with forty years of continuous landwork experience and over 500 hours of Energy related AAPL Certified Continuing Education. I take pride in providing a quality land service to aggressive companies interested in exploring for oil and gas and working in renewable energies. Expert title examiner and negotiator having worked in multiple Counties and States negotiating both Oil and Gas Leases and Wind Energy Easements. I have a tremendous amount of experience working with title opinions in oil and gas and title commitments in renewable energy, curing title defects and division of interests. My years of in-house experience combined with decades of experience working as a Field Landman provide me with knowledge to work and solve problems on any platform as a Land Professional. I work at a rapid pace in today’s fast paced market and provide accuracy and attention to detail. The creativity and suggestions that I provide while working as a Landman are time and cost saving to my clients.

If you recognize my name, it may be because I have participated in many leadership roles with AAPL over the past 19 years and currently serve as AAPL Region II Director representing all Michigan Landmen on a national level. I served on the AAPL Executive Committee as Third Vice President 2011-2012 and filled the role of AAPL Certification Chairman 2014-2015. I received several awards for my extended efforts including the AAPL Distinguished Service Award and the AAPL Meritorious Service Award. I have accomplished many goals in support of the land profession both on a local and national level and proved that one person can make a difference. I am also a Past President of our local Michigan APL (MAPL) having held every local office over a span of six years.

It is the love of the land business, helping landowners, significant challenge and satisfaction of success that make me anxious to start each new day of landwork in our great State of Michigan.
