Looking to upgrade from my current 20 year old access database.   Suggestions please.   NO SALES CALLS Please.  Want on the ground user input.  We own minerals and hbp leasehold.

iLandman was the best out there for this but they were recently bought by P2 Energy. Not sure their status now.

I recommend giving iLandMan a look. I've now run it at 3 different companies and their tract-based, whole picture approach -- from front-end title work to back-end lease management is pretty unique in the industry. I think it would particularly be a good fit if you have both minerals and leasehold. A lot of the lease-based systems wouldn't know what to do with your minerals. :)

    Karen

We've used iLandman for a while now for our land records.  It's an easy to use tract-based program that we use to keep track of our leasehold (and the small mineral interests) we own.  Our biggest obstacle before iLandman was taking our legacy HBP assets and getting them into a new program without doing a bums of data conversion.  The iLandman staff helped up put our own data into their template, then they loaded everything on their end.  They've also got the ability to put together some good maps of your position that integrate with the database.

Feel free to give me a call if you'd like to get more info on our experience.

    Karen,

I think I met you at NAPE 2018 with Randy Helms.

We have had a good experience building a database for a client using iLandman.  Richard Hines is responsive and supportive as are the rest of the iLandman team. Richard's email is rhines@ilandman.com

I would recommend checking out iLandman.  It is a great database for the price.  I use iLandman when I was consulting for St. Martin Land Company to manage surface and mineral ownership, title, lease/hbp status, and monthly payment tracking.

We have built a comprehensive system that we are able to customize to your needs and are able help get your existing data imported into the system.  We offer it for free to our data clients.  If you or anyone else would like more info, I'd be happy to discuss with you.   scottw@localextent.com - 817-980-2827

    Hi Karen,

I hate to answer with a question, but what are you trying to accomplish? I've attached a link to a diagram that has helped me in the past reach out to providers. There are many options out there for Land Management or Lease Management. I've used most of them and looked at all of them. LandDocs is simple to use and a cost effective Land Management System (LMS). The clear choice for Title Management Platforms is Tracts. Tracts automates the interest calculation, report generation, and storage process for all of your title. Once you have that data input into Tracts, you can populate LandDocs or QLS. I wish there were a more straightforward answer, but without knowing your specific challenges, I can't say one way or the either. Feel free to shoot me an email (jcochran@elmgroveresources.com) if you have any questions about what Elm Grove Resources uses. I'm happy to help.

    Hi Karen,
I would recommend BOLO via P2Energy.
BOLO allows you keep track of minerals and leases; also uses tract level.
I used to work for BOLO and performed numerous conversions.
Very easy and yet robust land system.

    Hi Karen,

I've had good luck using iLandman over the past few years for several clients. Good pricing with lots of modular flexibility and also very scalable across a lot of multidisciplinary platforms... Say hi to Terri and Mike for me and look forward to seeing y'all at NAPE in a few weeks.
