Jacquelynn M. Sipe, CPL
Jacque passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2020, in the Sugar Land area southwest of Houston where she lived. She is survived by husband Paul Sipe, Jr., who arranged a private graveside service. There will be no public memorial service, however Jacque's friends plan to hold a memorial gathering in the Houston area at an appropriate time as the coronavirus pandemic fades as we hope. Leslie Moore is making a contact list for that event and may be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to be notified. This notice is also being posted in the HAPL newsletter for August 2020, to be followed by a more detailed obituary that is now being prepared. Jacque was named HAPL's Outstanding Landman in October 1991.

Knew Jacque back in the 90's when we were both active on AAPL board. She was a vivacious firecracker. Rip sweet lady. A great loss.
I helped train Jacque years ago when we both worked for Dave Parnell in New Orleans in the late 1970's. She was a quick study, she was always a fine credit to the profession and she will be missed by everyone who ever knew her.

I first met Jacque at OU in our various PLM classes. I knew then she was a special lady with a never say quit attitude. She was a true and loyal supporter of OU's PLM program and her land profession. The Sooners have lost a Big Red heroine. She will be dearly missed!! R.I.P. Jacque Sipe and Boomer Sooner!!
